Laine's Class Christmas Party

So, somehow, I got drafted to be the "room mom" for Laine's classroom, and of course, if anyone knows me, I SAID YES!!!!!! Call me crazy, but I enjoyed it while it lasted! For the last six months, I've been coordinating all the daily volunteers and two class parties, the fall party (Thanksgiving) and the Christmas party! Here are some cute pictures to show. My sister got the privilege of coming in with me to help out with some of the games. Plus, there were three other aides that I lined up to help! It went SO SMOOTHLY but I'm so glad it's over! :)

Shoveling snowballs was probably the most favorite game for all the kids. Each child got a dab of vaseline put on the tip of their noses and they had to scoop up the "snowballs" with their noses and see who could get the most amount back in their bowls before the time was up! They all giggled and giggled!

The kids had to unwrap Hershey's kisses with a pair of mittens on! No easy task! :) They LOVED it! (In case you're wondering, I can't take credit for any of these games as they were from the internet! :))

Then, they each made Rudolph from their hand prints and their foot print!

Here is the finished product!

We finished it off with cookies, fruit and juice!
