Shew! That was quite the crowd of people, but we had SO MUCH FUN! I think we hit a little above the 40 mark of people in our house total from start to finish. Everything worked PERFECTLY! I didn't have the camera out too much I was too busy serving and making sure everyone was taken care of! So, the few pictures I do have I'll share! We ended up sitting out right across the street on our sidewalk to see the fireworks and saw every firework BUT the ground ones and had to fight no traffic at all! It was the greatest!

David's Surgery
The surgery went GREAT! Tonight he was playing rougher than he does normally, so he must've been happy from that sedation! :)
He's going to have a blood shot, itchy eye for the next week or so, but otherwise, the doctor felt he had corrected what needed to be corrected!
I came down with a HORRIBLE sinus infection about 48 hours ago and have been struggling with keeping up. Haven't had a sinus infection in years. Since I've moved out to Arizona and that will be 2 years in July! It's been nice, but I think I'm "making up" for the ones I haven't been having on a regular basis! :)
Getting ready for our big 2nd Annual 4th of July party! Should be fun. We have about 40 people coming over for it! Then we'll all go over and watch the fireworks at Pacana Park. Again, I'll post pictures later this weekend!

Please pray!
This is WAY LATE in posting, but I wanted to ask everyone to pray for David. He has surgery to correct his eyes tomorrow at 10:00. It's outpatient, but you can imagine it won't be a very fun procedure for him! Neither for mommy to comfort after.
I too went to the doctor today and have a pretty bad sinus infection. I'm feeling pretty miserable, but hope to sleep tomorrow afternoon while everyone is sleeping!
Then, need to do some work on the house to prepare for our 2nd Annual 4th of July BBQ! I'm so excited. Should be fun. We have about 40 people signed up to come! :) I'll post pictures this weekend.

Family Celebration
Mommy, Daddy & Princess Adalinne
L to R: Josh & Charis, Joanna & Adalinne, Jeremy & Ava!
L to R: Josh & Ginger with Charis, Us :), Jeremy & Andra with Ava!
Sisters (Grandma's) L to R: Priscilla (Adalinne); Susie (Charis); Rachel (Ava)
Sisters, Children & BabiesMy Uncle Denny's retirement party was held tonight and we were able to get some really good pictures of some family. My Uncle Denny & Aunt Rachel (my mom's oldest sister) live in town, my Uncle Clare and Aunt Susie (my mom's 2nd oldest sister) were here from Missouri and my mom are all new grandmas of baby girls. I posted earlier on something similiar. This time, we got all the "first cousins" together with their babies, then we took one of the cousins and their spouses and babies, then one of the grandmas (sisters) and babies. SO SWEET! We all three are unable to have babies for one reason or another and we all three have previously adopted and we all three got girls right around the same time! It's the neatest GOD THING! HE IS SO GOOD! To GOD be the glory GREAT THINGS He HAS DONE!!!!
A Laine funny! :)
Okay, so some of you might not think this if funny because a lot of you don't live in Arizona, but I'm sure most of you that don't have heard of the Arizona Diamondbacks! They have one the world series (just a few years ago). Anyways, we were in the car tonight on our way home from a family celebration and Laine noticed a license plate with the emblem for the team and very excitedly with a gasp said, "Oh! The DINGbacks!" Ben & I laughed and laughed!

The news we've ALL been waiting for!!!!
Okay, so I told you all I'd post! Now that I know more, I'm posting! :)
This morning we met with our adoption worker for Ezra!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!! We signed paperwork this morning which "officially" started our adoption process and according to Tracey, our adoption worker, we are looking at LATEST end of August as an adoption hearing!! UNREAL! We are elated!
There are SO MANY THINGS that need to get done before we finalize this, several steps, we've contacted an attorney to represent us just this morning and they are sending our paperwork, then we are still needing to get our adoption license which will be the only thing that may take the longest. But, maybe not! :)
I'll keep you posted as each event occurs! Thanks again for your support through this HUGE event in our lives! Keep praying for the process to go smoothly without any glitches! :)
Keep checking back! :)

30 years later......

It's time for an update, sorry guys! Things just don't slow down and I'm not really seeing an end in sight! But I KNOW it's got to be there. I have some other really good news to share, so keep posted and I'll try and post tomorrow when I'm a bit more rested.
My dear mama came over last week with a Ziploc and contents of a green dress, bloomers to match and white sling back shoes, plus a blanket on the outside of the bag. She had dug through the "keepsake bins" in her house and found the actual outfit that my parents brought me home from the hospital in on April 6, 1978, 30 years ago! While I wasn't able to bring Adalinne home from the hospital in the same dress, I did get the privilege of trying them on her and oh, how sweet she looked! See for yourselves above! :) Isn't she precious!? And even in the same soft and comfy arms I was lying in when I wore the same dress.
